Beautification & Character
The Beautification & Character Committee is dedicated to enhancing our neighborhood's visual appeal and fostering a strong sense of community.
Priority 1
Community Clean-Up
A neighborhood cleanup is a community-driven initiative to improve the cleanliness and appearance of a residential area. It involves volunteers working together to collect litter, remove debris, and beautify public spaces.
Priority 2
Adopt-a-Park
A community-based initiative where a group or individual takes responsibility for maintaining and improving a specific park.
This involves regular park cleanups, removal of litter and debris, reporting maintenance issues, and often organizing community events within the park.
Priority 3
Bus Stop Beautification
Involves improving the appearance and functionality of a public transportation waiting area. This can include tasks such as repainting shelters, repairing benches, cleaning and removing graffiti, adding lighting or security features, installing trash and recycling bins, and planting greenery to enhance the overall aesthetics of the bus stop.
Priority 4
Fix-Up Day
Increasing the physical appeal of a business in a community involves enhancing the visual attractiveness and overall impression of the business's exterior and interior spaces. This includes improving the building's appearance, landscaping, signage, lighting, and overall ambiance to create a positive and welcoming environment for customers and employees.
